KBS2’s ‘The Seasons - Lee Young Ji’s Rainbow’ (referred to as ‘Rainbow’) announced on December 30th KST that it would cancel its scheduled recording and skip one broadcast to join the national mourning period.

The production team shared the update on the show’s official website, stating, “Due to the declaration of a national mourning period, we regret to inform you that tomorrow’s scheduled recording (December 31st) has been canceled.”

They added, “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the cancellation. Audience members selected for the canceled recording will be given priority access to the recording scheduled for Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Those who wish to attend on that date are kindly requested to confirm their participation by marking the ‘12/31 attendees’ section on the website by midnight on December 31, 2024.”

Additionally, the program will not air its scheduled episode on January 3rd. The production team explained, “The January 3rd broadcast has been canceled in accordance with the national mourning period. We kindly ask for the understanding of our viewers.”

‘Rainbow’ is expected to resume its regular schedule following the conclusion of the mourning period.
