Hyun Bin recently addressed speculations that he had a crush on Son Ye Jin first.
On December 16, a video titled "Bae Doona, Lee Soo Hyun Zzanbro EP. 72 - The Dance Machine Mother-Daughter Duo That Rocked Zzanbro's Party" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Zzanbro Shin Dong Yup.'
Toward the end of the video, a preview for the next episode revealed the main cast of the film 'Harbin' — Jeon Yeo Been, Hyun Bin, Park Hoon, and Park Jung Min. Their visit was part of the promotional activities for the film 'Harbin' (directed by Woo Min Ho, distributed by CJ ENM, and produced by Hive Media Corp).
In the preview, while the actors were discussing the film, host Shin Dong Yup turned to Hyun Bin and said, “There are a lot of clips on the internet showing you being awkward and clumsy around Son Ye Jin, and people say it’s because you liked her first. Have you seen them?”
In response, Hyun Bin laughed and said, “Huh? That wasn’t the case back then...” partially denying that he had a crush on Son Ye Jin, which drew laughter from the cast and crew.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin first worked together in the 2018 film 'The Negotiation' and then reunited for the 2019 tvN drama 'Crash Landing on You,' during which their on-screen chemistry sparked real-life romance. The couple got married in March 2022 and welcomed a healthy baby boy on November 27 of the same year.
Hyun Bin’s upcoming film 'Harbin' is set in 1909 and follows the intense pursuit and cat-and-mouse chase between those heading to Harbin for a single mission and the forces tracking them. Directed by Woo Min Ho, known for 'Inside Men' and 'The Man Standing Next,' and produced by Hive Media Corp, which also created 'Deliver Us from Evil' and 'Spring of Seoul,' the film is one of the most highly anticipated releases of this winter’s box office lineup.
