Moon Ga Bi, the model who recently confessed to having a secret pregnancy and giving birth, has long been inactive in the entertainment industry.

According to Star News, Moon Ga Bi’s exclusive contract with her former agency, Workhouse Company, ended approximately three years ago in 2021. Following her departure, she has not engaged in any broadcasting activities.

On November 22, Moon Ga Bi announced her pregnancy and childbirth on Instagram, explaining why she had kept it a secret.

“As a mother now, I’ve mustered the courage to seek a bit of ordinary happiness,” she wrote. “When the news came to me so suddenly, I was completely unprepared. Instead of fully celebrating the joy of pregnancy or receiving congratulations, I spent most of the pregnancy quietly, surrounded by my family’s blessings.”

She continued, “I made that choice solely for the sake of my child. I felt that to protect something precious, I needed to keep it hidden. As an inexperienced, unprepared soon-to-be mom, I needed time to prepare myself. But honestly, it was the choice of a scared mother.”

Moon Ga Bi added, “Even as I now look at my child, I know I’m still far from a perfect mother. However, this child fills my heart with love just by existing. I’ve decided to become a mom who is full of love and happiness rather than striving for perfection. I sincerely hope to provide my child with a healthy and joyful life, filled with unconditional love. I want to show my child only the bright and beautiful world I once saw and to do so, I needed to find courage.”

Moon Ga Bi’s heartfelt post explained her decision to share her journey and new role as a mother.

Debuting as the winner of the Miss World Bikini competition in 2011, Moon Ga-bi gained fame as a model and became a prominent figure in various entertainment shows, including Attraction TV, Twilight Delight, Law of the Jungle, and Get It Beauty.
