BXB member Hamin (formerly known as Kangmin) has been cast as the lead in the BL (Boy Love) drama 'Heart Stain.'
Based on a popular webtoon of the same title, 'Heart Stain' confirmed that Hamin had secured the role of protagonist Park Do Ha after auditioning.
Produced by Oak Company, 'Heart Stain' is scheduled for release in the first half of 2025. The drama is a youth romance depicting a love triangle involving Park Do Ha, who has a crush on his friend Yoon Woo Hyun, who, in turn, is infatuated with their homeroom teacher.
As a former child actor-turned-singer, Hamin has shown his potential and talent as an actor from a young age. Hamin is expected to portray Park Do Ha's bold personality, confessing his feelings to his friend, Woo Hyun.
Hamin shared his thoughts through his agency, Wolfburn, saying, "Taking on my first lead role brings worries and pressure, but I’m grateful for the opportunity, and I’ll work hard and act happily."
'Heart Stain,' which wrapped its main series to enthusiastic reader support, was so popular that it even released additional side stories. Known for its sweet and fresh depiction of first love, the series became a hot topic during its serialization and continues to garner steady popularity across readers with its light and tender storyline.
Hamin’s group BXB showcased their musical talents as Team 4:00 on JTBC’s 'Peak Time' and has been active with album releases, domestic and international fan meetings, and appearances in short-form dramas like 'Contract School.' BXB is also preparing for more personal activities and a new album in Korea, kicking off with a mini fan meeting at K-EXPO INDONESIA 2024 in Indonesia.
