On October 28th, according to the album sales tracking site Hanteo Chart, ILLIT's second mini-album ‘I’LL LIKE YOU’ recorded 382,621 copies sold in its first week (tracked from October 21st to 27th). This surpasses the first-week sales of their debut mini-album ‘SUPER REAL ME’, which featured their hit song ‘Magnetic’.

The title track ‘Cherish’(My Love) from the new album has been praised for showcasing a different musical style, vocal prowess, and the group's matured artistry. 

Since their comeback on October 21st, ILLIT has appeared on various music shows and radio programs, meeting the expectations of their fans. During radio appearances on 'Lee Eun Ji's Gayo Plaza' and 'Cultwo Show', the members delivered stable live performances, dispelling early debut criticisms about their live singing abilities.

ILLIT's delicate performance has been highlighted as a key factor in enhancing the ‘Cherish’ stage. The choreography features gestures that express the confident emotions of a young girl, various hand-heart gestures throughout the song, and movements reminiscent of a magical girl transforming, making it a visual treat.

Famed dancer Jay Black recently praised ILLIT's choreography on his YouTube channel, saying, “ILLIT's dance moves may look simple, but they are not. Beyond the intricate hand movements, the choreography breaks down rhythm, groove, and bounce in great detail. There are many moves that are beautiful yet difficult. The fact that they make it look effortless means they are skilled dancers.”
