Doyoung has successfully wrapped up his first solo Asia tour!
The NCT member held the final show of his 'Dear Youth' tour on September 21 at ICE BSD HALL 1 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Starting in Seoul last May, the 'Dear Youth' tour spanned 15 shows in nine Asian cities, including Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Taipei, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Jakarta.
During the concert, Doyoung performed a diverse setlist featuring songs from his first solo album 'YOUTH,' including "Little Light," "Beginning," and "Rest," as well as OST and collaboration tracks such as "Like a Star," "Doll," and "A Little More." He also performed his self-composed song "Dear" and a cover of local favorite, "Pelangi" by HIVI.
Local fans created a special atmosphere during "Little Light" by attaching yellow stickers to their phone flashlights, mimicking firefly lights. They also organized events like slogan banners with messages like "Doyoung, let’s shine together like fireflies" and large LED displays with quotes like "Let’s be together on this beautiful journey," inspired by the lyrics of Doyoung's song "Dallas Love Field." Fans even sang "Lost in California" while waiting for the encore, making the event even more memorable.
At the end of the concert, Doyoung expressed his gratitude, saying, "It’s hard to believe the tour is already over. I hope my sincerity was conveyed through the 'Dear Youth' concerts and that the fans, or Czennies (NCT's fandom), had a happy time. I am deeply grateful for the overwhelming love from the Jakarta fans today, and I want you all to remember that I always love you. Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart."
Following the concert, hashtags like "#Dear_Youth_in_JAKARTA" and "DOYOUNG JAKARTA CONCERT" topped the trending list on X in Indonesia, highlighting the massive local interest in Doyoung.
Meanwhile, Doyoung is set to hold 'Dearest Youth' encore concerts from November 1-3 in Seoul.
