KATSEYE, the global girl group under HYBE and Geffen Records, has boosted its chances of entering the Billboard Hot 100.
According to the latest U.S. Billboard chart released on the 17th for the week of September 21st, KATSEYE (Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sofia, Yoon Chae) debuted at No. 22 on the 'Bubbling Under Hot 100' with the double title track Touch from their first EP 'SIS (Soft Is Strong)'.
The 'Bubbling Under Hot 100' ranks 25 songs that narrowly missed entering the Billboard 'Hot 100' main chart.
In addition, Touch has also stood out on global charts, which measure rankings based on streaming and sales data from over 200 countries and regions. The song entered the 'Global 200' at No. 159, and on the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' chart, it climbed 15 places from the previous week to rank No. 144.
'SIS (Soft Is Strong)' also ranked No. 20 on the 'Top Current Album Sales' and No. 22 on the 'Top Album Sales' charts. As a result of these achievements, KATSEYE placed at No. 93 on the 'Artist 100' chart.
KATSEYE continues to show rapid growth on the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify. Touch climbed to No. 130 on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart (as of September 12th, for the tracking period of September 6-12), rising 25 spots in just one week since it first entered the chart on September 5th.
Additionally, Touch ranked No. 30 on the 'Spotify Daily Viral Songs Global' chart (as of September 16th), where it has maintained a spot for 36 consecutive days, based on data showing a rapid increase in streams and shares.
KATSEYE recently completed their first promotional activities in Korea from September 12th to 16th as part of their Asia promotion tour and will soon visit the Philippines and Japan.
