Super Junior’s Shindong recently shared an update about moving into his new home.
On April 3, a video titled “Revealing My New Home – People Are Always Surprised When They Come Over | Real Shindong EP.03” was uploaded to his YouTube channel ShindongDengDong.
In the video, Shindong proudly showed off his home’s open view of the Han River. “Everyone who comes over, I always show them the view. You can see the Han River and Lotte Tower in Jamsil. They do fireworks from there on New Year’s Day. I was in Taiwan then, so I missed it. I’m going to watch it next year,” he said. “I love this place. It’s easy to get around using Olympic-daero and Gangbyeonbuk-ro, and the Cheongdam Bridge makes it a straight shot to Bundang. It’s a mixed-use complex, so there’s even a supermarket downstairs,” he added with satisfaction.

He continued, “The thing I always brag about the most to everyone is my TV. A very expensive 97-inch OLED that cost 35 million KRW (~23,500 USD),” and introduced the massive television. He added, “The sofa and stuff are from my previous house. Let me show you the kitchen. I changed a lot here, induction cooktop, oven, fridge, dishwasher, washer. But the best upgrade is the sink. I got the idea from Instagram. And I’ve been using a food waste disposer lately. It works great.”
He then pointed out something unusual, “The thing that surprises people the most when they come to my house is this tray. When I roll it around, people are shocked like, ‘You have this in your house?’ It’s because it’s a bit of a distance from the kitchen to the dining table. I’ve kept it and still use it well.” He also showed off his refrigerator, saying, “It dispenses ice cubes, crushed ice, filtered water, and it even has craft ice and mini ice cubes. I hardly ever have to buy ice.”
He shared, “There’s another fridge too, mostly for drinks. And this is a built-in coffee machine. I haven’t used it yet, but Changmin set it up really well. Does anyone not know this used to be Changmin’s house? I bought it from him. Let me show you the closet. He did such a great job with the interior, I didn’t need to change much.”

Previously, it was reported that TVXQ’s Changmin purchased a 163㎡ unit in The Sharp Star City complex in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul for 1.48 billion KRW (~ 1 million USD) in cash back in 2014. That unit is now worth up to 3 billion KRW (~2.2 million USD). Changmin currently resides in a 196㎡ apartment in Hyundai Apartment Complex in Apgujeong, which he purchased for 8.9 billion KRW (~6 million USD) in cash.
Shindong had been living in the luxury UN Village complex in Hannam-dong since 2020, but appears to have moved into Changmin’s former home.
Shindong also gave a tour of his computer room, storage space, and master bedroom. He shared, “This is my room. I recently changed the bed to a Tempur adjustable one. You press a button, and it elevates: great for watching TV. I even customized this setup because of my projector. This was more expensive. Probably cost around 4 million KRW (~3,000 USD)."
