Lisa of BLACKPINK has shared her heartfelt thoughts after wrapping her first-ever acting role in HBO’s hit series ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3.
On April 8th KST, Lisa took to Instagram to express her gratitude: “What a ride. Thank you Mike White for trusting in me to fulfill the role of Mook and bring her character to life. It was the greatest honor to be part of this show as my first acting gig alongside such incredible actors."
She continued, “I’m so proud to be able to share my culture and show the beauty of Thailand to the world. Mook has changed my life in a way where I am learning more about myself and my capabilities.”
Closing her message, Lisa wrote, “My Sunday nights may feel a lot emptier but closing out ‘The White Lotus’ with a full heart.”
Lisa also shared behind-the-scenes photos from filming, showcasing a range of styling choices—including a striking look where she pushed back her signature bangs while donning traditional Thai attire. The images offered fans a glimpse into her transformation for the role and her pride in representing her heritage.

Fans may recall Lisa’s humorous comment during her appearance on JTBC’s ‘Knowing Bros’, where she joked, “If I were offered 10 billion won (~6.7 million USD) in ad money, I’d open up my bangs,” adding with a laugh, “For 5 billion(~3.3 million USD), I’d open them halfway.” Her new drama look now takes on a playful new significance.
Lisa’s performance in ‘The White Lotus 3’ has been widely praised, marking a promising new chapter in her multifaceted career.
