NCT WISH is taking a fresh and creative approach to promote their upcoming mini album 'poppop', launching a unique simulation website that lets fans experience sweet virtual chats with the members.
On April 8th KST, NCT WISH unveiled the chat 'poppop' website, a playful platform that imagines the members caught in a moment of one-sided love, just before a big confession. Fans are invited to join the members in simulated text conversations, helping them choose outfits, plan gifts, and navigate relatable emotional dilemmas.
Despite its chatbot format, the chat experience feels surprisingly immersive, with the dialogue based on content written by NCT WISH themselves. The site also features previously unreleased photos, giving fans a more intimate glimpse into the album’s concept.
Beyond the role-play charm, the chat poppop platform cleverly teases the music video and storyline of the album’s title track poppop, heightening anticipation for the full release.
Described as a refreshing and heartfelt take on first love, poppop captures emotions like nervous excitement and clumsy confessions. The mini album will feature six tracks in total, with the full release scheduled for April 14th at 6 PM KST.
