EXO celebrates 13th debut anniversary with heartfelt live stream and promise of a reunion fan meeting
On April 8th KST, EXO commemorated their 13th debut anniversary with a special live broadcast titled ‘EXO: 13IRTHDAY HOME PARTY’. The event, streamed on YouTube, TikTok, and Weverse, lasted approximately two hours and brought together members Suho, D.O., Chanyeol, and Kai, with Sehun, currently serving his alternative military duty, joining briefly via phone call.
In a cozy home party setting, the members shared laughter, fond memories, and meaningful reflections. During the cake-cutting ceremony, they all wished for “EXO and EXO-L to stay healthy and happy together.”
The live show featured a variety of games and segments including a guessing game based on clues from their hit songs, a board game with surprise challenges, a stealthy photo-avoidance mission, and a voice-modulated gossip segment. Through it all, the members’ natural chemistry and longtime camaraderie shone, giving fans both humor and heart.
As the broadcast drew to a close, each member delivered sincere messages:
- Chanyeol said, “We’ll continue to work hard as a group, so we hope you’ll stay with us.”
- D.O. added, “It was really fulfilling to laugh and share time with the members and EXO-L again.”
- Kai remarked, “All that’s left is for EXO and EXO-L to meet in person, so let’s enjoy that moment together.”
The biggest surprise came from Suho, who teased, “We’ll hold a fan meeting when Sehun returns,” igniting excitement among fans. Sehun also joined in via phone to say, “EXO and EXO-L are one. I’m doing well, and I hope all of you are too. Happy 13th anniversary to us.”
The event highlighted EXO’s unwavering bond, their deep gratitude for fans, and their continued promise to remain a strong presence in K-pop.
