T-ara member Jiyeon recently shared an update on her Instagram. 

On August 14th, Jiyeon posted several photos without any caption, except for a red heart-shaped emoji.

In the photos, Jiyeon is seen in what appears to be an exhibition space, dressed casually with her hair styled in a low bun, gazing into the distance. The images also featured close-ups of her red heart-shaped earrings, which caught the attention of her followers.

Jiyeon married baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun in 2022, and the couple has shared glimpses of their sweet newlywed life on YouTube, garnering significant attention. However, the couple recently found themselves amidst controversy after a baseball commentator mentioned their possible divorce. Both Jiyeon and Hwang Jae-gyun have yet to make any public statements, leaving the rumor unresolved and continuing to follow the couple.

The divorce rumors began spreading online after commentator Lee Gwang-gil from KNN Radio, a broadcaster in the Busan and Gyeongnam region, mentioned it during a game between Hwang's team, the Lotte Giants, and the Kia Tigers. Lee suggested that Hwang's recent poor performance might be linked to his divorce, stating, "Isn't Hwang Jae-gyun divorced? I heard it from the director." Although the conversation was not aired live as it occurred during a commercial break, it was captured on a YouTube broadcast, lending credibility to the claim due to its source. The rumor quickly spread online.

In response to the issue, a close associate of Jiyeon told following day, "After checking with Jiyeon, the divorce rumors are not true. There are no problems between the couple." The source added, "Jiyeon considers this a misunderstanding and is hesitant to respond officially, as she believes the situation will pass since it's not true."
