T-ara's Jiyeon and baseball player Hwang Jae Gyun are facing divorce rumors.

The rumors began after KNN baseball commentator Lee Kwang Gil stated there was trouble in Hwang Jae Gyun's personal life during a baseball radio broadcast. Lee Kwang Gil suddenly expressed, "Did you know Hwang Jae Gyun got divorced?" He later added, "I heard it from a higher-up... We shouldn't discuss matters here. Everyone, this is just something the commentator heard from someone. It's not official. I apologize."

It further fueled speculation when Jiyeon announced a hiatus from her YouTube channel for personal reasons following her husband's reported attitude issues on the baseball field. Reports say he was involved in several bench clearing incidents with his team, the KT Wiz.

However, a former associate of Jiyeon denied the divorce rumors, stating, "After checking with Jiyeon regarding the divorce rumors, they're not true."
