Amid allegations of employee mistreatment against dog trainer Kang Hyung Wook, the May 20 broadcast of 'Dogs Are Incredible' was canceled.
According to a May 20 report by Herald POP, KBS2's 'Dogs Are Incredible,' that was scheduled to air at 8:55 PM on May 20 was canceled, due to the fallout from allegations of mistreatment of employees involving Kang Hyung Wook, who is currently a featured personality on the show.
Recent reviews by employees of the company operated by Kang Hyung Wook, known as 'Bodeum Company,' have stirred up significant discussion on recruitment platforms. The company's rating on these platforms was notably low, standing at 1.7 out of 5.
Former employee 'A,' who shared a review about Bodeum Company, described their post-resignation struggles: "After leaving the company, I've been dealing with panic disorder, anxiety disorder, depression, and more. My mental health suffered due to constant gaslighting, personal insults from the CEO and his wife, and demands extending beyond work." Their review also highlighted disturbing allegations, such as "They monitor the messengers, and they review it overnight to see if (employees) curse about them, and harass (the employees)," sparking considerable controversy.
Another employee, 'B,' spoke out about workplace mistreatment, stating, "They mistreat their employees. They take out their frustrations by throwing items."
Similar allegations surfaced on Kang Hyung Wook's YouTube channel, 'Kang Hyung Wook's Bodeum TV.' Person 'C' further fueled the discussion by recounting experiences like receiving six spam cans inside a bag meant for pet waste as a holiday gift, among other grievances.
As of now, Kang Hyung Wook has not addressed these allegations publicly.
Meanwhile, 'Dogs Are Incredible,' the show featuring Kang Hyung Wook, typically airs every Monday at 8:55 PM.

The guy is an *sshole. It's good that he likes dogs, but he should be kind to people too. He has only himself to blame for getting his show canceled. He needs to learn human kindness.
