BLACKPINK's impact on the music industry is undeniable. Even without having made a comeback since 2022, their songs enjoy incredible stability on Spotify, one of the largest and most important platforms in the world.
On this occasion, the hit "Pink Venom" has just surpassed 700 Million streams, becoming the third BLACKPINK song to have surpassed this mark on the platform. With this new feat, BLACKPINK has just broken their tie with "Fifth Harmony", now holding the title of the "Female Group with the most songs that exceed 700 Million streams on Spotify".
The songs from both legendary groups that have surpassed this mark are: "How You Like That" (1 Billion streams), "Kill This Love" (804 Million streams) and "Pink Venom" (702 Million streams) by BLACKPINK, while on Fifth Harmony's side there are "Work from Home feat. Ty Dolla $ign" (1.4 Billion streams) and "Worth It feat. Kid Ink" (805 Million streams).
On the other hand, BLACKPINK has surpassed 48 Million followers on Spotify, marking another new record by becoming the "First Female Group" and the "Only Asian Female Artist" in history to achieve this.
BLACKPINK's reign doesn't end there since to date all the original songs in their discography have exceeded at least 100 million streams each on Spotify, being the only K-pop Group to have achieved this in history. In addition to the fact that with its 32 songs surpassing the previous mark mentioned, BLACKPINK has further extended their distance over the second place belonging to the legend “Little Mix” (23 songs) and the K-pop groups “Twice” (20 songs) and “Newjeans” (11 songs) as the Female Group with the most songs that exceed 100 Million streams on Spotify.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK!
