According to Netflix's latest data on March 13 KST, 'My Name is Loh Kiwan' amassed 5.1 million viewing hours worldwide from March 4-10, marking a significant rise from its initial third-place debut in the first week.
The film has made its mark in 31 countries, including Korea, Portugal, Peru, Venezuela, Malaysia, and Turkey, captivating audiences with its compelling narrative.
Directed by Kim Hee Jin, 'My Name is Loh Kiwan' delves into the story of a North Korean defector who finds himself in Belgium, seeking refuge, and a woman who finds renewed purpose through their unexpected encounter. Based on Jo Hae Jin's novel 'I Met Loh Kiwan,' the film stars Song Joong Ki as the titular character, portraying his journey to secure refugee status.
