JTBC is set to premiere its eagerly anticipated audition show, 'Girls on Fire', in April 2024. Conceived by the creative minds behind hit shows 'Phantom Singer' and 'Super Band', 'Girls on Fire' aims to discover female vocalists with a burning passion for music, with the ultimate goal of forming a powerhouse female vocal group.

This initiative represents the third phase of the 'Hidden Musician Discovery Project' spearheaded by the talented production team behind 'Phantom Singer' and 'Super Band'. The show will be hosted by Jang Do Yeon, marking her debut as a solo MC.

JTBC announced an impressive lineup of producers for the show on March 4 KST, including Yoon Jong-shin, Sunwoo Jeong-a, Apink's Jeong Eunji, DAY6's Young K, Dynamic Duo's Gaeko, and dance group EO-DDAE's Kinky.

Yoon Jong-shin, known as the 'Midas Hand of the audition world', along with Gaeko, the hip-hop legend, are among the producers. Gaeko expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I want to meet participants who can work on songs together.” Singer-songwriter Sunwoo Jeong-a, referred to as a ‘musician’s musician’, was drawn to the show's concept of forming a female vocal group, a first in Korea.

Apink's Eunji, showcasing her multi-talented persona, aims to approach her role as producer with authenticity, expressing her honest feelings as if she were the first audience. DAY6's Young K and Kinky, known for directing top female artists, add to the diverse talents shaping the show.

Kinky and Young K highlighted the importance of creating music that satisfies the public's craving for innovative and visually appealing performances.
