The showdown between the monster detective and the fourth-generation villain crosses national borders.
The film 'The Roundup: Punishment' (directed by Heo Myeong-haeng) released four character posters on the 18th. These posters feature the main characters, from the monster detective 'Ma Seok-do' (played by Ma Dong Suk) to the fourth-generation villain 'Baek Chang-ki' (played by Kim Moo Yeol).
First up is the series' iconic monster detective, Ma Seok-do, who appears even more bulked up than in the previous installment. His determination as a detective is highlighted in the poster with the quote, "I'll catch them all myself."
The next poster captures Baek Chang-ki, covered in blood, saying "Find and wipe them out." His chest and arms are notably covered in dark tattoos.
In another poster a transformation of the original member is teased. The returning Jang I-su wraps himself in luxury brands, signaling a change in styling. Lastly, Jang Dong-chul is seen walking among his subordinates, who are bowing their heads.
'The Roundup: Punishment' is a new series of 'The Outlaws'. It pits Ma Seok-do against Baek Chang-ki, who operates a massive online illegal gambling organization, and Jang Dong-chul, a genius CEO in the IT industry. The story unfolds as they carry out an operation to eradicate crime.
The film is set to premiere in theaters nationwide on the 24th of next month.
