Another big milestone in BLACKPINK Lisa's career has been added to her already very long list of accolades earned following her solo debut in 2021. Her performance on music charts domestically as well as internationally is nothing short of astounding considering all the records she has broken or set on different music platforms and charts as the 'First K-pop Act in history' and even 'First K-pop Soloist in history' for many as previously reported extensively.
On March 12, BLACKPINK's "How You Like That" became the first song by a K-pop girl group to surpass one billion streams on Spotify. This achievement also made Lisa the "First Female K-pop Artist" to have a song with over a billion streams on Spotify both as a solo artist and with a group, this because in 2023 her hit "MONEY" was officially certified by Guinness World Records as the first K-pop track by a solo artist to reach 1 billion streams on the platform.
Now Lisa has joined Normani and Camila Cabello as the only female artists in history to have achieved this 1 billion stream milestone both as soloists and with their respective groups.
-BLACKPINK's LISA ("Money", 'How You Like That').
-Normani ("Dancing With A Stranger", "Work From Home").
-Camila Cabello ("Havana", "Señorita", "Work From Home")
On the other hand, Lisa continues to demonstrate great stability within Spotify since, despite not having released music for a long time, she has managed to accumulate more than 100 Million streams across all credits on the platform so far in 2024.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK's LISA!
