Former The Wind member Shin Jaewon has terminated her contract with With Us Entertainment.

On February 28, With Us Entertainment confirmed reports stating Shin Jaewon is leaving the label. The agency further stated The Wind is staying as a 6-member group following Shin Jaewon's leave as no members will be added.

The news comes after Shin Jaewon withdrew from The Wind just 7 months after their debut.

I would like to inform you about the future course of action of The Wind member Shin Jaewon and the future plans of The Wind.

After discussing future activities with former The Wind member Shin Jaewon from various angles, we decided to terminate the exclusive contract under mutual agreement.

With this, THE WIND will continue to work as a six-member band. We ask for your warm interest and love to the six members of THE WIND who will grow up even better.

We will continue to do our best to support The Wind to grow up nicely as an artist.
