At the '2023 SBS Gayo Daejeon,' NCT's Ten took an unexpected plunge into an open lift hole on stage, causing panic and worry among fans and netizens alike.

On various online forums, netizens expressed their deep concern after a GIF capturing the incident began circulating. The footage showed Ten accidentally falling into an open pit just before his segment during NCT 127's performance of "Baggy Jeans." 

The GIF captured the moment when Ten unexpectedly descended into the lift area through which other members were getting ready to join him on stage.

Despite the initial shock, Ten swiftly recovered, climbed back up onto the stage, and delivered his performance. However, the incident left fans and netizens anxious about his well-being, and they began to understand the slightly extended pause before his dance routine during the live broadcast.

After the show, Ten reassured fans through 'Bubble' that he was "okay" and promised to update them if he experienced any pain or discomfort.

He wrote, "I'm okay. Don't worry. :) If I really feel any pain, I will let you know right away. ^^ Merry Christmas to you again. I love youuuuu. ^^"

Fans also noticed the concern from fellow NCT members, particularly Mark, who showed shock and worry on stage and exchanged words with Ten while wearing a serious expression.

While the details of the accident remain unclear, netizens raised questions about the safety measures in place at 'SBS Gayo Daejeon.' Some pointed out that the dimly lit stage without neon signs or staff members to guide artists during preparations could pose risks to performers.
