Korean netizens say that some members in the BTS fandom flood female celebrities with hate comments whenever there is a dating rumor. The most recent example being the latest reports regarding Song Da Eun and BTS Jimin.
On October 20, actress Song Da Eun warned off some of the fans who have been harassing her following the dating rumor with BTS member Jimin.
One netizen compiled all the hate comments incidents following the dating rumors, including Song Da Eun, BLACKPINK's Jennie, and Lee Yu Bi. Other netizens chimed in, commenting:
"It's best not to be involved with them."
"They always brag how big their fandom is. But then it's also true that the bigger the fandom size, the more crazy people the fandom has. You can't deny that this is also part of what your fandom is doing."
"I can't fathom how vile their DMs must be if those are the comments they get on their public posts smh."
"Lol, they are also the ones quick to blame other fandoms and other member's solo stans, etc."
"Always victim lol."
"I know all male idol group fandoms are kind of like this but ARMY is on another level. I mean they were on the social side of the newspaper for causing a commotion on the subway."
"Why don't they try condemning such actions within the fandom, instead of saying it's just a few?"
What do you think?
ARMY always love to play the victims by stating that is never them but trolls/bts antis 🙄
you can see many of them doing that in every bts news.
it's crazy. I've never seen a fandom that has such a history of victimizing itself instead of admitting that a fandom as big as them has so many bad apples. it's totally "normal" that to happen. your fandom is not the 1st to behave like this nor unfortunately it will be the last
