On August 12, KST, 'Doom at Your Service' and 'Reply 1997' actor Seo In Guk successfully held his first-ever fan meeting in Asia, which took place at the New Frontier Theater in Manila, Philippines.
Before his anticipated show, Seo In Guk answered some questions from the press. He greeted everyone with his excitement at finally holding a solo fan meeting, saying, "First of all, I really feel excited to do my first-ever fan meeting here and I am grateful to finally be able to show my fans what I prepared."
When asked about the important thing of doing this activity, In Guk, of course, it's because of his fans who have waited for him and who have shown their support for his dramas. "I feel the need to reach out to their expectations, and it’s also a memorable experience for me which gives me the strength to show better performances. I also look forward to going back here in Manila and rising to their expectations," he said.
Spending 14 years in both the acting and music industry, In Guk still thinks of the question, "Who have I become" from time to time, as he thinks there is no definite answer. He responded, "It’s more of trying my best and doing a lot. With that, I keep trying my best to complete the singing and acting career and be able to put more stories and emotions that relate to the audience."
On the highlights of his career, In Guk revealed that the things he has improved on come from his random needs, adding that he also tries to develop himself and relate or connect those things to his feelings simultaneously. "It can be about the singing and acting career but it’s also about being human and showing humanity. I’m really focused on listening and being more natural and honest right now."
Toward the end of the Q&A, In Guk reassuringly said that he will continue to make good music and transform hearts through the dramas he will participate in, hoping to be a veteran in the future. "I hope to be more known so I can reach out to more people as well."

Such a good actor, I loved Café Minamdang, and Doom at Your Service - in fact I've just watched the whole of Doom at Your Service again, when D.P. Season two got a bit much, as I was in need of some feelgood factor.
.
I didn't realise he wasn't particularly high profile, I assumed that as he's so good, he would be in very high demand and doing fan meets all over the place. I hope he does a lot more dramas and carries on forever :).
