In an exclusive interview with iMBC, former MBLAQ member/solo artist Thunder (33) addressed the many questions the public may have about his now public relationship with former Gugudan member/actress Jung Mimi (30). 

Earlier this week, Thunder and Mimi confirmed that they are currently in the 4th year of a serious relationship with marriage in mind, and hinted at their first public appearance on a TV broadcast on next week's episode of KBS2's 'Second House 2'. 

First, Thunder verified that he and Mimi are currently planning to marry in the second half of next year. He said, "We want to live a happy life full of energy, like the families in the sitcom 'High Kick!' or in the animation 'Crayon Shin-chan'. It's our dream to have a family where not a day goes by without a fun episode."

The musician then clarified that they are not "in a rush" to get married due to "unexpected circumstances", shutting down speculations of a pregnancy before marriage. "That is definitely not the case. We are hoping to get ready for the marriage at a leisurely pace, and we want to enjoy a lot of dates in the process." 

Next, Thunder responded to a question asking what his sister Dara's reaction was to his relationship. He said, "Dara noona always said that we made a good couple. She loves Mimi and treats her to all kinds of gifts. I'm always cheering on my sister's activities." 

When the topic of children came up, Thunder revealed, "We hope to have one daughter and one son. I would love to have a daughter who looks like Mimi, but Mimi prefers... actually she wants a daughter who looks like Dara noona." 

Finally, Thunder shared his and Mimi's future plans as professionals and as a family. First, he stated, "I am now promoting as a hip-hop musician. Mimi released a solo single album shortly after her group's disbandment, and she also recently starred in a movie. She is now looking for an agency to represent her for her acting promotions. Together, we also hope to appear on family variety programs, and one day we hope to even release an album together, just like Choi Soo Jong and Ha Hee Ra (of 'Second House 2')."
