KISS OF LIFE's Belle recently received an award as a songwriter, just days after her debut. On July 14 KST, Belle was announced as the winner of the 'Proud Korean Grand Prize' in the composer category at the '2023 Korea Best Brand Awards' held in Seoul. Even before her debut, Belle garnered attention when it was revealed that she had participated in writing and composing the title song "UNFORGIVEN" for LE SSERAFIM.

Belle has proven herself as a talented lyricist and composer, showcasing her skills in KISS OF LIFE's debut song "Shhh" and her solo song "Countdown". Speaking through her agency, Belle expressed her gratitude for the award, saying, "I have always worked hard because I love music, so it is truly an honor to receive such a prestigious award. With this recognition, I will continue to strive even harder as Belle of KISS OF LIFE and as a musician."

Belle recently made an appearance on a radio show, where she shared, "Even before preparing for my debut with the group, I was working as a songwriter. There are many producers I collaborated with, and we have over 1,000 unreleased songs." 

Notably, Belle's talent as a lyricist and composer has been recognized outside of her group as well. She has been officially registered as a lyricist and composer for PURPLE K!SS's "Find You", and (G)I-DLE member Miyeon's solo song "Softly", among others.

Belle, who gained attention as the daughter of singer Shim Shin, officially debuted on July 5 as part of KISS OF LIFE, a four-member girl group.
