On June 13, Jellyfish Entertainment released an official statement regarding the activities of VERIVERY's leader, Dongheon.

The agency stated on this day,

"Hello, this is Jellyfish Entertainment.

We would like to notify you regarding VERIVERY member Dongheon's future activities.

As the enlistment process for Dongheon's mandatory military service has begun, VERIVERY will carry out schedules as 6-members until the group's fan concert in Taiwan set to take place on July 22; afterward, all schedules will proceed as 5-members without Dongheon.

We would like to sincerely thank the fans for their unchanging love and support for VERIVERY, and we will notify you soon with additional details on Dongheon's enlistment in the near future.

Thank you." 

Meanwhile, VERIVERY member Minchan previously announced a hiatus from his promotions in December of 2022 due to health issues, resulting in VERIVERY's comeback as 6-members earlier in May of this year. The group will soon kick off their fan concert series, 'DREAM SHOP', with a 2-day show in Seoul from June 24-25.
