NCT's Taeyong first mini-album 'SHALALA', which was released on June 5 KST, has conquered iTunes album charts in 30 countries including Brazil, Mexico, Chile, France, India, Spain, Poland, Russia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Colombia, Finland, Hungary, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Singapore, Mongolia, Peru, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, Vietnam, Brunei, Portugal, Panama, and the Philippines.

Moreover, 'SHALALA' has grabbed the top spot on the worldwide iTunes album chart and the digital album sales chart of QQ Music, China's biggest music platform. The album's title track also achieved first place on iTunes top song charts in 14 countries across the globe, such as Chile, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Malaysia, Panama, Peru, Poland, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Vietnam, Belarus, and Mongolia.

Prior to the album release, 'SHALALA' received a whopping 500,000 pre-orders, making Taeyong a half-million seller before even dropping his first solo album. On the day of the album release, Taeyong held a grand showcase in Seoul, where he shared interesting stories about producing his solo album and performing solo.
