Recently, there have been rumors that Lee Jung Jae was involved in T.O.P's casting in 'Squid Game 2'.
Netflix made a surprising announcement on June 29, unveiling the highly anticipated cast for the second season of the immensely popular series 'Squid Game.' Netizens were left astounded when they discovered that former Big Bang member T.O.P had secured a role in the ensemble. Speculations arose suggesting that lead actor Lee Jung Jae, who shares a longstanding friendship with T.O.P, played a pivotal role in his casting decision.
However, Lee Jung Jae's agency Artist Company denied the rumors that the actor had any involvement in T.O.P's casting on the second season of the megahit series. Nevertheless, netizens are still dubious of the Artist Company's denial since they believe that T.O.P's casting came out of the blue.
Amidst the latest buzz about T.O.P's casting, another piece of information involving 'Squid Game 2' is garnering attention.
Dispatch revealed on the same day that Lee Jung Jae had requested over 1 million dollars in guarantee per episode. Dispatch stated, "Netflix cannot afford to overlook Lee Jung Jae's request," and emphasized, "Lee Jung Jae asked Netflix seeking a substantial guarantee of over 1 million dollars per episode, which means his appearance fees will amount to a staggering total of over 13 million dollars (given the 13 episodes)."
Meanwhile, Netflix has yet to respond to inquiries about whether T.O.P has auditioned or not and remains silent.
Ironically I felt other actors carried season 1 instead of him.
Unfortunately they all died, so most likely no season 2 for them to earn that pay day.
