On June 30, HYBE Labels x BeLift Lab's joint girl group launch project 'R U Next?' premiered worldwide on JTBC, Abema TV, and YouTube.
On this day, the journey of 22 female contestants aiming to become the chosen members of HYBE Labels x BeLift Lab's global new K-Pop girl group began, with Girls' Generation's Sooyoung greeting viewers as the program's host.
One of the burning questions answered by MC Sooyoung on this day was how many trainees would be selected for the program's winning team. According to Sooyoung, only 6 out of the 22 contestants will be able to secure a spot in the debuting team.
Meanwhile, the 22 contestants divided into 7 units for the first round of 'R U Next?', the 'Tryout' round. Viewers can catch a recap of the performances by the first 4 units from this week, below!
The first round of global voting for 'R U Next?' is currently under way and will end on July 6 at 12 AM KST. Viewers can cast one vote each day via Weverse and the mobile app Toss.
