Earlier on May 9, Kai told his fans during his fan meeting 'KAI's [aKAIve]', "Shaving my head clean. I remember the hair stylist hyungs shaved off the sides a lot, and every time they did that I told them, 'I've never shaved my entire head since elementary school'. Well, tomorrow is the day. But I'm okay with it. I think it'll look good. I'll send you a photo."
If anything, fans agreed that the neatly shaven head only accentuated Kai's strong facial features, giving him a sharper impression.
Meanwhile, Kai is expected to begin his basic training at the ROK army new recruit training center on May 11. Afterward, he will complete the remainder of his mandatory service duties as a public service worker.
