On April 14 KST, Son Ye Jin's management label Msteem Entertainment confirmed, "Son Ye Jin visited Japan at the same time as her husband Hyun Bin for his official schedules, and she will return to Korea later today."

Earlier on this day, netizens reported that they saw Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin at a hotel in Japan. The accounts soon grew into rumors that Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin had decided to celebrate their 1-year wedding anniversary with a trip to Japan together, while Hyun Bin happened to be visiting to attend a special edition pop-up store opening for the brand 'Loro Piana'. 

Japanese media outlets were also on high alert throughout this morning, as this marked Hyun Bin's first official visit to Japan for promotional activities in approximately 5 years. Over 1,000 of his fans gathered outside the event hall, impressing Hyun Bin. 

Meanwhile, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin tied the knot with a wedding ceremony held on March 31, 2022. In November of the same year, Son Ye Jin gave birth to her first child, a son.
