Since the release of the movie 'Kill Boksoon', it has been receiving enthusiastic responses both at home and abroad.
On April 5 KST, streaming service Netflix revealed that the movie 'Kill Boksoon' recorded 19.61 million viewing hours in 3 days after its release, and took first place on Netflix's 'Global Top 10 Movies (non-English)', including Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam and other countries. The movie was on the top 10 list in a total of 82 countries including Canada, Germany, Spain, Brazil, and New Zealand.
'Kil Boksoon' depicts the story of Gil Boksoon (played by Jeon Do Yeon), a legendary killer in the contract killing industry, getting caught up in an unavoidable confrontation just before renewing her contract with the company.
Also, 'Kill Boksoon' evoked an explosive response and is well received by domestic and foreign media and viewers. Not only did it raise expectations for its perfect action sequences, but also for exploring the complex genre unique to 'Kill Boksoon'.
'Kill Boksoon' is a combination of the skills of director Byun Seong Hyun's strong directing skills, Jeon Do Yeon's delicate acting skills to show the charming character of Gil Boksoon's dilemma between her identity as a killer and a single mother, and the synergy of all the actors who create a bloody and dangerous yet interesting relationship.
Meanwhile, 'Kill Bok-soon' is currently streaming on Netflix.

I was hoping to love this movie. It is a S.Korean imitation of 'Kill Bill'. The difference: Kill Bill producer, storyline, director, actors' beauty, charm and captivating acting were so advance for the time; its unique cinematography became a trend setter production, still remains as one of the must watch of all times. Comparing to Kill Bill, the S. Korean actresses did not look the part; obviously connections and not a fair auditioning gets you the roles but cannot make Uma Thurman or Daryl Hannah or Lucy Liu. If you have seen Kill Bill, you would be disappointed in this Korean version. I watched Kill Bill, Kill Bill 2, twice but this movie, I fell sleep for at least 20 minutes.☮💞
