YG Entertainment's response to BLACKPINK member Rosé and Kang Dong Won's dating rumors made netizens think that the two stars' dating rumor may be true.

Earlier, rumors have been spreading online that BLACKPINK's Rosé and actor Kang Dong Won may be in a relationship, as various netizens posted about the alleged 'evidence' of the two stars. Shortly after the rumors, YG Entertainment responded with an official statement. Representatives of YG Entertainment stated, "It is difficult to confirm because it is the private matter of the artists." Following this statement, many netizens thought the dating rumors between the two stars may be true, as netizens claimed that YG Entertainment is better known to outright deny the rumors if they are indeed false. 

Meanwhile, Kang Dong Won was a part of the YG Entertainment family, until his contract expired just last December. Kang Dong Won and Rosé have a 16-year age gap between them.
