'FACE' by Jimin is a global success as it sets records on music charts globally as highest charting or first-ever K-Soloist entry
It has been slightly over a week since the release of Jimin's solo debut album 'FACE.' The album as a whole, as well as the pre-release single 'Set Me Free Pt.2' and the title track 'Like Crazy,' have been recording major achievements on the daily music charts in different countries. As such, the impressive daily performances have resulted in the songs' and album's historical rankings on the major official music charts for the different countries, most of which are released weekly.
Jimin has managed to enter numerous official singles and album charts in many countries all across the globe, both in streams and sales. For some of these charts, Jimin's debut has been quite surprising, even for fans. This would be the first time in history that a K-pop or a Korean soloist was entering the chart, due to the highly competitive nature and high entry barriers of the charts. For another cluster of the charts with equally tough competition and entry barriers, Jimin has emerged as the highest-ranking Korean soloist ever on the charts, also leaving fans in awe of his influence in different music markets, all with a solo debut album. Undoubtedly, Jimin's album can now be considered a global success.
