BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, shows that someone with his level of international fame cannot avoid detection.

In the second episode of tvN's food/travel reality series 'Jinny's Kitchen' which aired on March 3, Taehyung, with Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yoo Mi, Park Seo Joon, and Choi Woo Sik, continues running a Korean restaurant in Bacalar, Mexico.

Unsurprisingly, Taehyung will always be recognizable and well-known wherever he travels. The recent episode shows off his global influence and how locals from different generations are still able to identify him.

Three older gentlemen who came into the restaurant were discussing Taehyung while waiting for their food. One of them said to the others, "That man over there is a singer." The second guy asked, "Is he famous?" and he replied, "Very famous." And the other guy then guessed the reason, "He's really handsome, is that why?"

At another time, a female and male customer came in together. The female took a quick glance at the hard-working employees and said to her male companion, "The guy over there is a singer," after recognizing Taehyung, and adding "He is in a group."

Taehyung is no doubt Taehyung is one of the world’s most loved and recognizable idols, and his prevalence in pop culture has made him recognizable even among non-K-pop fans.
