Former reporter/ YouTuber Lee Jin Ho said IU and Lee Jong Suk were in the talking stage since last June.

On January 2nd, Lee Jin Ho claimed IU and Lee Jong Suk were in the talking stage since last June when IU was promoting the film 'Broker'. In his video, he said IU was seen looking at her phone frequently and she was also spotted talking on her phone for a long time despite her busy schedule. He added because she was so busy on her phone, even Song Kang Ho and Kang Dong Won jokingly ranted IU doesn't hang out with them. 

Lee Jin Ho also spoke about how Lee Jong Suk treats IU differently because he says Lee Jong Suk is not someone who sweet talks often. In multiple official communications, Lee Jong Suk referred to IU as someone he admires and someone who makes him want to be a better person.

Meanwhile, media outlet 'Dispatch' has reported that the two have been officially dating since last September.
