WeVerse is a platform created by the South Korean Entertainment Company Hybe Corporation. After the platform first opened worldwide, worldwide artist BTS and their little younger brother group TXT were the first artists to join the platform. Because of this, many fans thought that Hybe finally created a platform purely for BTS and TXT. However, it wouldn't be long before more and more artists would slowly join the platform, the next group being Pledis's Seventeen (SVT). After joining WeVerse and with the more and more that joined, some slowly stopped using Vlive. Which was used for years by many artists and idols to communicate with fans through live streams, showcases, or debut showcases.
Because of this, fans slowly and surprisingly began to see different artists from a variety of companies join WeVerse, and it slowly became popular with some idols who would comment underneath their fans' posts in their own little community. Most recently, this was seen with the Thai Soloist and GOT7 member BamBam. Who made a statement after joining WeVerse that he just overall felt more comfortable and safe on the platform.
Although many kpop fans made it clear they didn't like WeVerse as much as Vlive. (Especially multi-fans who follow more than one artist or more than one group). It wouldn't take very long that Hybe Corporation would announce the WeVerse x Vlive Merger in a poor manner that left many fans questioning the content they paid for with Vlive and recently bought fan kits. Even making it clear that smaller groups or idols (often some who have less than 30K to 20K fans) may not get on WeVerse.
As of November 30, 2022, users who have signed up with Vlive via their email received the statement below regarding the WeVerse x Vlive Merger and the Integration of Vlive Service and Re Arrangement.
However, it still left many fans uncertain about the merger and worried about all the content and milestones that idols have had with Vlive in general. Including what precautions were taken so that the V lives on the platform would be saved. More and more fans would push awareness to those who are fans of smaller artists and kpop groups to save the content in advance or whatever is comforting to them.
But how is this being done?
Many fans of many groups or idols have come together or have made it known that over time and with the help of the free website 'carrd.' Where people can create their own custom photo portfolios or profile site for free.
These fans or fan bases have created many free sites that act as an 'archive' for fellow fans without paying to view years' worth of v lives. A simple google search or youtube search can be successful for many groups or soloists. But for smaller fandoms, it could be difficult.
As said above, a similar search on youtube with the same keywords can also bring up many results, or putting your idols or group's name in front of '()' vlive archive' will provide the best results. However, it is still recommended that you record or screen record certain videos or lives from smaller groups or idols if your search is non-successful.
If you have any other sources or any other knowledge regarding vlive archives or about the WeVerse x Vlive Merger. Consider commenting about it and leave a source/ link below.

The fact I have to create an account for each group in WeVerse is horrible.
The fact that I would not be able to rewatch content from groups that are not anymore is even more horrible as a fan.
What will happen with content for AOA, Beast, ...content from Vlive like the ones were idols were in pyjamas, or where groups didn't have a Vlive (like AlphaBat) .. and so on?
At least they should keep the browser vlive version as an archive if the app is gone.
