Park Jimin is an idol loved and respected worldwide by fans, the media, and even the general public. In his country of South Korea, that adoration and recognition are immeasurable, as can be witnessed by the current wide range of birthday projects that have turned Korea into "Jimin land."

There are usually many instances when he is mentioned on Korean news for his impact in association with BTS or for his own impact. On the 3rd of October, Korean news media YTN's 'Easy Korean' used footage from BTS 'Yet to come' Music Video focusing on Jimin's part when explaining what a symbol of cultural influence was, saying soft power can be used to mean cultural influence with the ability to change one's behavior, for instance, the case of BTS wielding soft power through their music and cross-cutting impact.

It is true that Jimin's popularity in Korea is incredible, and sometimes called Korea's Front Man. On the 5th, during JTBC's 'Life Re-set Re-debut Show: Birth of a star,' a celebrity contestant alias 'Elric' whose face was not shown, revealed that as an idol, he would pick to re-debut as BTS Jimin was before a panel of judges, enforcing the Jimin Rookie's bible & Idols' Idol title because many idols have covered his songs or tried to copy his performances. On the 6th, during the show 'It's your first time in Korea right?' on MBC News, a visitor from New Zealand named David, while on a trip to the country with his brothers, was interviewed; he said that his bias is BTS member Jimin.

Jimin's philanthropic acts also never go unnoticed, although unpublicized. News of his donation of 100 Million Korean Won to the Gangwon-do office of education was published on the 29th of September by SBS Morning Wide News. They added that Jimin has previously made donations to the Busan Arts high school, Busan Office of Education, Jeonnam Education Office, and Children's Foundation.

SBS News also reported on his classic hit song 'Lie' popularity during a segment on classical music and K-POP. 'Lie,' sung by Jimin, used samples of Manuel de Faya's classical Spanish music in the background creating a sense of excitement and realism. KBS 2's Immortal songs: Singing the Legend, a music competition show, played 'Friends,' a song produced by Jimin and sang together with member V, during their friend's special edition.
