Fans quickly came up with evidence that aespa's Winter and NCT's Jaehyun are not dating.

On online community forums, rumors surfaced that the two idol stars from SM Entertainment are possibly in a relationship. The conjecture was based on the fact that Winter was seen holding a shopping bag from MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) at an airport. 

Apparently, the same shopping bag was held by Jaehyun's manager when the NCT member had visited the museum before his concert in New York. Rumors spread with netizens assuming that Jaehyun had given Winter the gift from MoMA when aespa attended NCT's New York concert on October 14.

But fans soon rebuked this rumor, as Winter was seen with the bag only upon her arrival in LA on October 15. A footage also revealed that the MoMA bag was a gift from a fan at LAX. Winter was allegedly not seen with the bag before her departure in New York, which "should have been the case" had it been a gift from Jaehyun.

These posts once again begged to show 'how quickly false rumors can spread' due to several netizens' conjectures.
