On July 20, Source Music officially announced that the label has decided to terminate its exclusive contract with LE SSERAFIM member Kim Garam. 

Previously, Kim Garam became wrapped up in school bullying accusations via online communities. Due to the rapid spread of various rumors and alleged "evidence" posted by individuals claiming to be former schoolmates of Kim Garam, the LE SSERAFIM member announced her temporary hiatus from promotions just 3 weeks after her debut.

LE SSERAFIM will continue their activities as a five member group as of today.

[UPDATE] A representative of HYBE has also issued an additional comment in light of the news of Kim Garam's departure from LE SSERAFIM. The rep stated, "Although the agency approached this issue and attempted to take action with utmost care and caution, we admit that there were some aspects to the agency's approach which were inadequate, and so we would like to apologize."
