And the anticipation for the solo debut rises even more!
On July 29th, EXO-L Japan Official Book No.16 was finally released, and fans of the group were overjoyed with the new content it gave them. But, a certain section got everyone asking for more.
Indeed, in the magazine, there was an interview with Chanyeol. The theme was solely on music, which fits EXO's main rapper as he has fully committed himself to songwriting, composing, and producing as much as possible. Fans got to have an insight into his creative mind and passion for music, but one question garnered a lot of attention.
The interviewer asked Chanyeol how many songs he currently has in stock on his computer (which he revealed to be the only place where said songs are, and if it were to be lost, so would all the songs would be gone). He replied there are about 40 or 50 songs on his computer.
Fans quickly showed their excitement with this new information, some thinking that these songs could possibly end up on Chanyeol's solo debut album, and he could end up debuting with a full album instead of the standard mini album. Chanyeol's name started trending on Twitter as his fans wished to be able to hear the songs soon.
Chanyeol revealed earlier this year during a fan meeting for the military musical Melissa's song that he is planning to release his solo album as soon as he is discharged from the military, and the hype surrounding said album has been building since, with many curious to see how he will do.
With the number of songs already existing, Chanyeol has enough to release at least five full albums or several mini albums, so we are definitely up for a treat!
Exciting!
