Lee Jun Ki's drama 'Again My Life' brought the original novel and webtoon series, which was published 5 years ago, back into the limelight with its success.
The Korean web novel and webtoon-based drama 'Again My Life' has been receiving an immensely positive response. First published as a web novel back in 2017, 'Again My Life' was soon developed into a web cartoon series and then recently adapted into a drama series.
SBS' latest Friday-Saturday drama series 'Again My Life' first premiered on April 8th of this year. The drama series has been ranked as the Friday-Saturday show with the highest viewership ratings for 5 consecutive weeks, with 10.1% nationwide ratings for its 9th episode aired on May 6th.
The drama's success brought the original novel and webtoon series back into the limelight. According to Kakao Entertainment, the transactions of the series on the platform increased 72 times on its platform after the show started broadcasting.

Meanwhile, 'Again My Life' is about a skilled prosecutor who gets murdered, and after he mysteriously comes back to life, he dedicates his second life to seeking out revenge. Lee Jun Ki plays the starring role, and the supporting cast includes Lee Kyoung Young, Kim Ji Eun, and Jung Sang Hoon.
