BTS's Jin has been expressing his position on environmental issues. The artist calls for learning how to separate the garbage for economical water usage. Jin also said that if he had to choose a superpower, he would like to be able to fix global warming.

Fans of Jin are following the positive example of their idol and actively participate in projects to spread awareness about ecological problems.

On his 29th birthday, Jin received a priceless gift from his Indonesian fans. An entire forest has been planted in his name at the Jurung Tiga Nature Park in the Kalimantan region of Indonesia! Moreover, the forest bears the name of Jin's song - "Epiphany."

The organizers of Jin's forest "Epiphany" say that they were inspired by Jin's speech at the UNGA 2021. That speech was indeed the key moment of the entire event - Jin's words got translated into hundreds of languages, and broadcast in hundreds of countries.

"You can feel the good vibes from just looking at this. There were times during the past two years when I, too, felt bewildered and troubled, but still, here we have people who cry out, 'Let’s live on. Let’s make the best of this moment.' I think that’s why, instead of the Lost Generation, a more appropriate name would be the Welcome Generation because, instead of fearing change, this generation says 'Welcome' and keeps forging ahead."

The wise and refreshing thoughts of Jin became a source of motivation and hope for millions of people.

That is why the motto of this project is "This is how we welcome change," and the participants have planted 124 trees in Jin's name. You can see beautiful signs with the artist's image hiding among the green foliage.

By the way, Korean fans of Jin are working together with the Seoul Environment Association to create a forest in the name of Jin in Seoul. The start is scheduled for October 2022. Let's hope one day Jin visits both of the forests!

What makes this project even more special is that every single tree was planted with lots of love for Jin, so the forest has its own magical energy and atmosphere. But most importantly, the trees will continue growing and bathing in the rays of the sun for many more centuries, making people happy, while carrying the memory of Kim Seokjin, who once lighted up the hearts of millions.
