The time fans have been waiting for has finally come!
Dreamcatcher members shed tears as they have finally taken their very first music show win on this week's 'Show Champion' with their newly released track, "MAISON". This is their first win since their official debut in January of 2017.
#Dreamcatcher1stWin trended on Twitter around the world with over 200,000 tweets as fans celebrate this huge milestone.
Dreamcatcher took to their official SNS account to express their gratitude to fans through a post with the caption, "Woah...!! 1st place! Everyone in the world, we are 1st on #ShowChampion! I couldn't express everything because I was crying, but thank you so much. It's just the beginning, so please continue to support us. I love you!"
Meanwhile, Dreamcatcher have just come back with their much-awaited second full-length album 'Apocalypse : Save Us', which showed impressive ranking on various charts worldwide. The group's album debuted straight at #1 on the worldwide iTunes album. They have also become the fifth-ever K-pop girl group to reach #1 on US iTunes 'Top Album' chart. 'Apocalypse : Save Us' has also broken the group's highest-selling first-day and first-week sales on Hanteo, signaling their successful return.
'Apocalypse : Save Us' consists of a total of 14 songs, including the solo tracks for each of the members, which are also written, composed, and arranged by the multifaceted members themselves. You might want to listen to Dreamcatcher's 'Apocalypse : Save Us' if you haven't yet!
Huge congratulations to Dreamcatcher on their well-deserved success!
Aww yay! I love it when determined, relentlessly hard-working groups hang in there and eventually do get music show wins, despite maybe not having huge initial success. I also think it reflects well on the fanbases that continue pushing and supporting, stronger over time.
