Finally, a long-awaited solo debut is upon us!

On April 29th, a fansign for the military musical Meissa's Song, which stars EXO's Chanyeol and actor Jang Ki-yong took place after the latest performance.

Some lucky fans who were picked took the chance to ask Chanyeol about his plans after the military, but one particular fan got the biggest scoop yet. The fan took their chance and asked Chanyeol if he was planning on releasing a solo album. Previously, Chanyeol would be quite hesitant as his previous requests to SM were denied, but this time, he didn't flinch and revealed to the fan that a solo album would be on its way as soon as he finishes his mandatory enlistment.

Chanyeol fans quickly spread the news as they have been waiting for years to finally have a proper timeline of events and had been saving money for a while now.
