Park Seo-Joon is one of the most handsome and talented actors in the Korean Entertainment industry. He is a delight on-screen. Seojoon can easily pull off a sharp-looking character or bring out the ‘aegyo' inside him. It is difficult to escape his attractive charm. But looking back at his work, we can say, it was a fascinating journey. The road from Dream High 2 to Itaewon Class was not an easy one.
If you have heard of Park Seo-Joon but haven’t watched any of his dramas and are now planning to do so, we have got just the right list for you. Here are 5 famous K-Dramas starring the actor that you must watch. Take a look!
1. She Was Pretty (2015)
This is one of Seo-Joon’s first K-Dramas as the main lead. When fate reverses everything and now-parted childhood friends who had a great fondness for each other meet again as adults, things do not go as planned. Ji Sung Joon is now a handsome and established editor of a magazine, and Kim Hye Jin lost all her complexion and doesn’t look as attractive. She doesn’t want to meet Sung Joon, but things become complicated when she ends up in the same office as him. She tries everything to avoid him, but destiny brings them together. It’s a heart-melting drama.
2. Fight For My Way (2017)
In this show, Seojoon plays the character of Go Dong Man, who was once a successful taekwondo player but now works as a contract employee in a mundane job. He luckily finds inspiration to chase his passion once again and returns as a mixed martial arts fighter competing for the UFC title. Supporting him through this journey is his childhood friend Choi Ae Ra who has a dream of her own.
3. What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim (2018)
We have got the actor playing the role of a self-absorbed narcissist who is the vice president of a big corporation. He ignores the efforts of those around him and is completely dependent on his secretary of 9 years, Kim Mi So. When she suddenly decides to resign from the job, he tries every hilariously ridiculous trick to keep her from leaving. The circumstances are such that he eventually falls in love with her, which brings about a change of personality for him as well.
4. Itaewon Class (2020)
The plot of Itaewon Class is rather simple but a touching one. Park Saeroyi’s father suffers a tragic death, but this case is never properly investigated as the CEO of a multi-million dollar food business, Jangga Co, pulls the strings to keep his son safe. Seeking revenge for his dad, Saeroyi decides to take the non-violent route and opens a pub in Itaewon. He vows to make his business bigger than Jangga and destroy its position in the industry.
5. Kill Me Heal Me (2015)
You have to know that Seojoon does not have the main role but is definitely the side character who shines in the show. He plays the role of Hwang Jung Eum‘s twin brother, Oh Ri On, and shares a cute relationship with lead Cha Do Hyun who suffers from a dissociative identity disorder. How Ri On and his twin sister help Do Hyun is really sweet and lovely to watch.
