GOT7's Jackson sat down with ET for an exclusive interview.
Jackson recently released his single "Blow" and will be releasing his album 'Magic Man' later this year. He sat down with Entertainment Tonight to share more information about his upcoming single and how he felt working on his new single.
Jackson shared that this single was a sort of liberation for him because he had personal struggles while living in fame for eight years. Jackson shared, "The concept and everything are free. I've never been this raw, ever in my life. For the past eight years, I've been living the commercial life - I've been living on a schedule, show after show. it's like a loop. And, that's why, after eight and nine years of that I got to a point I lost it, mentally."
Jackson elaborated, "I was lost, I didn't know what to do." However, the singer shared how he was able to resolve the struggles and explained that the people around him gave him positive energy, which inspired him.
He explained that led to the concept of his upcoming album 'Magic Man.' Jackson also explained that he had experimented with sounds and music because he was not restricted by overthinking.
Very excited for Jackson just the way my man is talking I love the way he's speaking~ I'm glad hes more free to play with music vs. being very restricted when your a group from the big 3
