Controversial entertainer Amy was sentenced to 3 years in prison after her third drug offense. 

On March 3 KST, the Wonju Branch of the Chuncheon District Court sentenced Amy, who was accused of violating the Narcotics Control Act, to 3 years in prison. Amy was previously deported for using drugs illegally, and after returning to South Korea, she committed her third drug offense. 

It's said she received 3 years in prison, which was heavier than the prosecution's sentence of 2 and a half years, and accomplice Oh was sentenced to 3 and a half years in prison. The court also ordered the two to complete 40-hour drug addiction treatment programs.

Amy reportedly administered methamphetamine 6 times from the end of April to the end of August of last year. Though Amy denied the charges in court, the judge decided to give her a heavier sentence.
