Five of the members of BTS, namely RM, Jin, Suga, Jimin, and V, left for their much-awaited trip to Las Vegas earlier today, and while their fans were happy bidding them farewell at the airport and wishing them a safe flight, something unexpected and unbelievable happened that got them enraged, especially since it was the doing of the reporters on-site, who are expected to be professionals while doing their jobs.

As always, there were many reporters from different media outlets at the airport to take photos of the members and report on their trip ahead of their schedule in the US, which would include attending the Grammys and holding their four-day sold-out concert in Las Vegas.

However, this excitement turned into a fury with the circulation of a certain video that captured a conversation between some reporters. With the status of BTS in South Korea and in the entire world, fans did not expect that they as a group or any of the individual members would face any kind of discrimination in this day and age and much less while in their own country.

In a video captured by one of the media houses, a conversation between some reporters was overheard where one of them was clearly saying that they should only focus on three of the members and pay less attention to the other two members, possibly based on popularity perceptions.

Woman: "They're not coming out today."

Man: "Yes, 5 people. Out of those, you don't really have to focus on RM and Suga, focus on the other three (Jin, V, Jimin)."

This revelation has BTS fans up in arms as supporting all seven members and being respectful to all is always their top agenda. Some fans were even more disappointed with the disrespect witnessed by the reporter, considering that this was a live feed, and many people both in and outside of the country would be watching and hearing their conversations in real-time.

Fans are outraged and are calling for action to be taken against this and any other journalists who would show the same behavior because it is incredibly unprofessional of them. Other fans of other groups have also spoken up, saying reporters have also had the same behavior towards other idol groups, showing that this is something that needs addressing and should not be tolerated.

It is both sad and unbelievable that this happened to individuals who are so much loved and appreciated and have so much to offer.
