DRIPPIN's Lee Hyeop and Cha Junho have tested positive for COVID-19.
On January 31st, Woollim Entertainment confirmed that DRIPPIN members Lee Hyeop and Cha Junho have tested positive for COVID-19. Below is the full statement from the label.
"Hello, this is Woollim Entertainment.
Our artist DRIPPIN members Lee Hyeop and Cha Junho have tested positive for COVID-19 on the morning of January 31st.
Ahead of the music broadcast appearance, on January 30th, members took tests with self-diagnostic kits and Cha Junho tested positive. As a result, all members went under PCR testing that day and Lee Hyeop and Cha Junho have tested positive on the morning of January 31st.
Currently, we have halted all promotions and we are closely following the health authority's guidelines.
Lee Hyeop and Cha Junho have mild symptoms similar to a cold and the rest of the members and staff are in self-quarantine. They will be continuously tested with PCR testings and self-diagnostic kits, given that virus could be dormant.
As soon as we get the results, we will adhere to the guidelines putting our artists' and employees' safety first.
We ask your understanding for causing concerns, and we will do our best to follow COVID-19 guidelines.
Thank you."
The label has yet to announce rescheduled activities of DRIPPIN. Stay tuned for updates.
Get well soon, Hyeop & Chacha.
